Chronos

Mystical black

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln. The bricks have a rough structure, irregular shape, and a strong resemblance to recovered bricks. The brick’s retro appearance is achieved by using a tumbling process.

The colour varies from mainly anthracite to coal black, with blue and brown nuances and white deposits visible. The ageing process also influences the colour shades. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.
