Klampsteen Kesselt Baekel

A hand moulded facing brick with a touch of red

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln. The bricks have a rough structure, irregular shape, and a strong resemblance to recovered bricks.

The brick has a dark red base, with hues varying from grey to red with white-yellow sediments . The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.
