Lava

The hand moulded brick that ensures a good balance

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The structure looks rugged with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln.

The different types of sand used result in a light grey coloured brick. The colours range from silver grey, beige grey to mouse grey alternated with blue shades. The different structures are the result of sawdust on the one hand and white, fine-grained sand on the other. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.

I would like to see some references of this brick, in my area.
