Robinia

A facing brick with pink and red

The (non-perforated) facing brick is sanded on five sides. The surface may be given a frog (a slanted oblong groove) on its bed. The structure looks rugged with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The firing process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel kiln.

The brick has a pink base, and the colour variations show hues ranging from orange-red to wine-red alternated with yellow and blue shadings. The colours shown are a near reflection of reality.
